Rhonda Liane Baker was born in Halifax, Nova Scotia in 1983. She is an alumna of The School of Toronto Dance Theatre, and has trained in the Gaga Movement Language (2012), and the Axis Syllabus (2015). Rhonda joined Coleman Lemieux & Compagnie in 2010; her first contract was a performance in a work called Impermanence (Guillaume Côte) for the Canada Dance Festival. She toured and performed with CLC in iconic works by James Kudelka from 2011- 2014. In the Autumn of 2011, Rhonda joined Mocean Dance for a commission with Tedd Robinson, which subsequently received a Dora Award Nomination for Best Ensemble Performance at Dance: Made In Canada (2013). Since joining Mocean Dance, she has danced in works by Serge Bennathan, Cory Bowles, Sara Coffin, Sharon Moore, Erin Donovan and Susanne Chui, Emily Gualtieri, Randy Glynn, and Rebecca Lazier.
