Rhonda Baker is a five-time recipient of scholarships from the NS Talent Trust and a graduate from
the School of Toronto Dance Theatre. Through the school she has worked with such notible artists
as Peggy Baker, Sasha Ivanochko, James Kudelka and Sharon Moore. Upon graduating, she had the
pleasure of working more closely with Sharon Moore and dancing in a solo project entitled Nutshell.
Rhonda has danced repetoire by Danièle Desnoyers, Andrea Miller and Sylvain Emard through the
Springboard Danse Montreal Project and in November 2009 was invited by Miller to perform with Gallim
Dance for the Sportmax series, Re:MIXX in New York City.
Independently, Rhonda has performed in the Atlantic Fringe Festival, Halifax’s Kinetic Studio Series,
Toronto Fringe Festival, and Dusk Dances. Rhonda is currently a dancer with Coleman Lemieux &
Compagnie based in Toronto.
