Alicia began her study of dance in Toronto, continued at Halifax Dance for the past 16 years and attended The David Parsons Company Intensive in 2002. She has taught and danced professionally since 1996, and is best known for her appearances as Clara in Symphony Nova Scotia’s The Nutcracker, a role she danced for six years. She has appeared in the work of national choreographers such as Allen and Karen Kaeja, Howard Richard, Gwen Noah, Roger Sinha, Andrea Leigh-Smith, Trish Armstrong and Susie Burpee. She additionally holds a BSc in Neuroscience from Dalhousie University.
