Carolle trained in Halifax Dance's Intensive Training Program and was a member of The Young Company. She continued her studies at the Royal Winnipeg Ballet Summer School and in Toronto. She has danced in the works of many local and nationally acclaimed choreographers and is beginning to choreograph herself, creating Similitude in 2004, featuring her sister, mezzo-soprano, Erin Crooks, Chance Encounters on the Halifax Dance Young Company apprentices in 2006, and this moment..now for Mocean Dance in 2008. An experienced dance teacher and qualified lawyer, Carolle has taken a hiatus from these careers to dedicate her focus to Mocean Dance. In 2007, she attended the ImpulsTanz International Dance Festival in Vienna, Austria.
